The best partnerships start with shared purpose

Equity work is deeply human work.

It asks for care, time, and a willingness to sit with complexity.

It grows from shared values, mutual trust, and a steady commitment to doing right by students—and one another—even when the going gets tough.

We do our best client work when we’re aligned on purpose and approach — and we want to make sure the fit feels right for you too.

This page is here to help you understand how we partner with others — and whether our approach aligns with what you’re seeking at this stage of your work.

Shared beliefs that guide our work

We’re probably aligned on these core views:

  • Kids aren’t the problem. Kids don’t need to be “fixed”; it’s our job as adults to set up systems and practices to help them thrive.

  • Equity matters. We need to be working for all kids. And we need to look closely to make sure we’re not missing someone.

  • We serve the whole child. Our job in schools and organizations is to support the whole child’s development, not just their academic learning.

  • People and systems can change. We can learn, grow, and improve. We can work to bring out the best in ourselves and others.

How we work best together

Our best partnerships happen when our clients:

  • Are explicitly working to advance equity, inclusion, and whole-child supports.

  • Want a thought partner who can support both big-picture systems thinking and on-the-ground implementation.

  • Are open to reflection, collaboration, and learning along the way.

  • Understand that meaningful change takes time, and trust… and they’re willing to invest both.

  • Know they don’t have to have it all figured out — but are willing to show up and stay curious.

We may not be the right fit if:

  • You’re looking for a “vendor” or service provider to offer a plug-and-play program, rather than a collaborative partner in change.

  • You’re focused primarily on compliance or optics management over lasting and sustainable impact.

  • You’re not ready to share access to your team, stakeholders, or community perspectives.

If you're unsure, that’s okay.

We’re happy to start with a conversation—no pressure, just a chance to learn more about each other and explore what working together could look like.
